Kulina shoots in looking for a takedown but Maloney manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kulina's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Maloney lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Maloney throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Kulina's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Maloney dives in looking to finish as Kulina flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Maloney's strikes! Maloney is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Kulina's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kulina was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Colt has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Colt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Colt connects with a good right hand that stumbles Jowars. Jowars circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jowars tries to clinch but Colt moves out of range.
Jowars walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Colt lands with a hook. Jowars tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Colt thuds his right hand into Jowars's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Colt, as that shot connected.
