A momentary lapse in concentration from Omad enables Shore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Omad manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Grey is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Rydeland's shoulder. That is not cool.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Raymond Grey.

Gates has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Fiori drops Gates with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gates looks back up at him and smiles so Fiori waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Fiori lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Gates head around and knocks him out cold! Fiori hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Manning shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kalambayo pinned against the cage. Kalambayo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Manning misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kalambayo lands a nice looking body shot.

Kalambayo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Manning shoots in looking for a takedown. Kalambayo tries to sprawl out of it but Manning keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kalambayo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kalambayo throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Manning crashing down! Manning tries to stagger back to his feet but Kalambayo just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Manning asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ras Butten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micke Wagner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butten kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is El Guapo. Micke Wagner told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ras Butten.
