The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Zaki or perhaps it was just good defense by Oscar, which made it look bad.
Oscar looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Oscar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zaki.
Oscar slaps away a takedown attempt from Zaki, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Zaki dives in and grabs Oscar's left leg, looking for a takedown. Oscar pushes down on Zaki's head and hops out.

Zaki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Oscar is fending him off so far but Zaki persists. Nope, Oscar circles away and we're back to standing.
Zaki should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Zaki darts in looking for a takedown but Oscar gets double underhooks and turns Zaki into the cage.

Oscar misses with a takedown attempt - Zaki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

As Zaki looks to move away, Oscar throws a big counter combo but Zaki just gets out of the way.

Zaki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Oscar pulls his leg out and moves away.
Oscar doesn't manage to clinch there - Zaki circles away.
Zaki steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Oscar.
Zaki will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Oscar works over Zaki's head and body with a nice combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oscar moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Zaki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Oscar pinned against the cage. Oscar gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Oscar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Zaki's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Oscar is holding on here and Zaki must be using up a lot of energy. Oscar has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Zaki gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Erickson dips to his left and cracks Ju with an uppercut!
A jab lands there for Ju.
Ju shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Ju throws a nice head kick!
Erickson throws a series of punches but Ju moves out of range.
Erickson throws a body shot but no joy.
Erickson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ju misses with a head kick.
Erickson scores with a hook.

Ju is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ju. That's going to slow Erickson down.
Ju with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Ju throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Erickson's head.
Ju plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

Erickson is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Ju throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Erickson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Ju lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Kim Sun Ju!
Kim Sun Ju decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Grant really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dallara. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hairston's coach down at Helsinki Fight Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hairston's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
