The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nesterov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maqsood tries to avoid it but Nesterov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maqsood to the ground. Maqsood escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Maqsood lands with a kick to the temple. Nesterov shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Nesterov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maqsood's waist but Maqsood gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nesterov off to one side.

Singleterry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Muratov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Singleterry has Muratov in his guard.

Muratov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Singleterry throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Muratov escapes and throws Singleterry's legs to the side, diving into side control!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dmitry Muratov.
I think Muratov has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
