Sr shoots in looking for a takedown. Hayato tries to sprawl out of it but Sr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hayato manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Daileon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Daileon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Daileon passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Edwards!
Daileon takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
Edwards is taking damage to the body and head.
Edwards looks gassed!

Daileon has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Edwards trying to get back to his feet but Daileon is in full control for now.

Daileon is working for a rear naked choke. Edwards is not defending it well and Daileon has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Edwards refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Edwards's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
