The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lintunen L paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Liu shoots in but Lintunen L avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Liu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lintunen L closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Liu to the mat! Liu manages to get full guard.
Lintunen L keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Liu's head.
Lintunen L is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Liu knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lintunen L on the ground.
It looks like Lintunen L might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Horrible takedown attempt by Luis or perhaps it was just good defense by Mcgregor, which made it look bad.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Luis is defended easily by Mcgregor.

Conor Mcgregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Luis.
Mcgregor throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Luis's waist but Luis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mcgregor off to one side.
