The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ruiz enables Diaz to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ruiz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Rafael Cruz looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Respect to Zac Rosenstock, he is a great fighter and a great striker, but I am the best in this division. Vova Klimov, gimme a shot at that belt!'.
In defeat, Zak Rosenstock stepped up to the mic, saying 'Vova was always going to be a tough fight, i'll be back.. better than ever!'.
