Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Big Boy Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Peacock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rick throws a jab when Peacock was well out of range.

Peacock shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Peacock was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Rick definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Peacock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Rick can't do much from the bottom here.

Peacock decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rick to his feet.

Peacock feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Peacock won't allow Rick to sweep him here.
