The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown blocks a head kick by Tyler.
Tyler doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Brown counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Tyler is trying to stand up here but Brown is controlling him well.
Brown is taking a breather. Tyler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Tyler wants to get back to full guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tyler tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown is controlling the pace.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Tyler is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Brown is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Tyler is trying to maintain the position but Brown is very close to passing his half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Brown drives through and clinches with Tyler against the cage.
Tyler is trying to force a seperation but Brown has the dominant position.
Tyler is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Brown is keeping busy.
Tyler jumps guard but Brown stands there with Tyler around his waist. Tyler gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Brown tries to throw a body punch but Tyler avoids it by throwing Brown back against the cage.

Tyler tries to break the clinch but Brown is controlling the position.

Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Brown feints and as Tyler raises his hands in defense, Brown changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Tyler is wriggling around but Brown manages to pass to half guard.
Tyler looks winded!

Brown takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Still in half guard, Brown seems content to control.
Brown is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Brown tries to pass to full mount but Tyler defends it.

Brown seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Tyler for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Brown is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Brown is taking a breather. Tyler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Brown moves nicely into side control.

Conner Tyler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Brown is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tyler can do to turn this around?

Brown fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tyler sprawls well initially but Brown persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bob looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bob pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Levalloi back to the cage. Bob follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Levalloi tries for a takedown but Bob circles away easily
and Bob counters with a nice uppercut.

Bob is trying to break the clinch but Levalloi has him pressed against the cage.

Levalloi throws a nice looking combination but Bob bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bob buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bob throws a head kick but Levalloi moves out of range.

Levalloi moves into range and clinches up with Bob.
Bob misses with a punch to the body.
Levalloi is working for takedown but Bob is calmly controlling the position for now.

Levalloi keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bob's efforts to push away.

Klabusterbaer wants to sweep here but Brawler Iv controlling him for the moment.

Still in the clinch, Souza scores with a nice short uppercut.
Souza lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Rider backwards.

Rider wants the takedown. Souza is fighting it off but Rider persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Souza's guard against the cage.
Souza is pulling down on Rider's head. It's preventing any offense from Rider, at least for the moment.
Rider throwing strikes from guard but Souza blocks nicely.
Souza has momentary wrist control but Rider slips an elbow through the middle.

Souza is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
