The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jianyu lands a head kick. Carter smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Jianyu is looking to slow Carter down with leg kicks.
Jianyu throws a body kick that misses

and Carter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Jianyu pushes Carter off and gets back to his feet.
Jianyu throws a sloppy head kick

and Carter counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Jianyu tries to kick Carter off in order to stand up. Carter Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Jianyu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Carter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Carter connects with a nice short shot to Jianyu's temple.

Carter has hold of Jianyu's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Jianyu manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Carter is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Jianyu has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Carter is working for a guillotine from mount but Jianyu frees his head quite easily.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Gonzales gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Gonzales apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Brook backs away from a small jab... but Gonzales lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Brook crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Gonzales with a spectacular finish!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valo throws a right hand that misses
enabling Zheglov to counter with a crisp jab.
Zheglov throws a series of punches but Valo moves out of range.
Valo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zheglov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Valo fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Zheglov looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Zheglov misses with a two punch combination.
Valo misses with a low kick.
A shot to the body from Valo misses
and Zheglov counters with a straight right hand.
Valo misses with a body shot.
Valo throws a lazy uppercut
and Zheglov counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Tapio Valo has been cut.
Zheglov uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Valo.
Zheglov looks to throw the jab but Valo is out of range.
Zheglov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big right from Valo misses.
A little jabbing left from Zheglov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Zheglov throws a jab but it's blocked by Valo.
Valo misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Zheglov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

and Zheglov counters with a straight that turns Valo's legs to rubber! Zheglov pushes forward with more strikes and Valo goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
