Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kane Boult (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Reynolds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Josh Reynolds struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Josh Reynolds told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aerts shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Thomas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Thomas avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Aerts wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Thomas, who protects the arm well.

Aerts thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Aerts swings around for an armbar but Thomas sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Aerts's guard.

Thomas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Aerts doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Thomas.

Aerts is trying to work for a sweep but Thomas has mounted him!
Aerts wants to control but Thomas is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Aerts can do to turn this around?
Thomas lands with some strikes.
Thomas postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Aerts badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Thomas around the waist but Thomas pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Thomas is the winner by TKO! Thomas jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Evan Thomas!
