The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crunch! Trujillo slams his shin into Williams's torso.
Williams throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Trujillo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Williams's knee momentarily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Williams darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Williams tries to sprawl but Trujillo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Williams told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
