Matty Minchin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assid throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Minchin's waist but Minchin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assid off to one side.
Minchin misses with a jab, cross combination.
Assid feinted with a counter takedown.
Minchin shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Assid eats them both and turns towards Minchin to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Assid dodges the punch combination from Minchin.

Minchin throws a nice looking combination but Assid bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Minchin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Assid moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Assid drops down looking for a counter takedown but Minchin sprawls and moves away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Assid shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Minchin as he jumps to the side.
