The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Mcgregor.

Mcgregor fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gurgaram, pushing him back against the cage.

Gurgaram successfully pulls guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Mcgregor would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Mcgregor has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gurgaram to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mcgregor is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gurgaram pulls down on the head and he's put Mcgregor to sleep! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Derrick Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juho Koski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Juho Koski struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 187.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Juho Koski told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
