Vorster is trying to drag Longworth to the mat but Longworth just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Longworth is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vorster has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Longworth is looking to defend but Vorster has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Longworth! Vorster pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Longworth taps out and this one is all over!

A very excited looking Jandre Vorster rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Jake Theodorou has been cut.
Abrams swings wildly with an uppercut but Theodorou uses good head movement to avoid it.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Theodorou has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Theodorou and the ref steps in to end the fight! Theodorou can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

A less than humble Jake Theodorou misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
