The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nguyen feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends george sprawling to the canvas! george rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nguyen finish him?!

It looks like hillbilly george has been cut.
Nguyen changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
george is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nguyen drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks george right on the button. george goes down! Nguyen follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nguyen gets the win via TKO!

Pummel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Pummel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but dasilva sees it coming and defends easily.
dasilva tries to kick Pummel off but Pummel keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
dasilva is trying to maintain the position but Pummel is very close to passing his half guard.
dasilva wants to improve his position but Pummel is controlling well.

Pummel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but dasilva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
dasilva wants to stand and escape but Pummel is having none of it.

Pummel has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing dasilva to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Pummel is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - dasilva pulls down on the head and he's put Pummel to sleep! This one is all over!

Gagner blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Doom tries to break free but Gagner pushes him back against the cage.

Doom tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Touch slips a straight right by Boucher.
Touch misses with a looping left.
Touch scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Boucher doesn't seem bothered though.
Touch steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Boucher.
Boucher lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Touch circles away quickly and effectively.
Boucher is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Touch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Good standup being displayed there by Touch as he connects with a hook.
A combination from Touch does no damage.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Boucher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Touch.
Touch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slapping leg kick lands for Boucher.
Boucher drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Good leg kick by Boucher there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Boucher walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Death Touch has been cut.
Boucher drops Touch with a huge uppercut! Touch drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Boucher is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
