The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGulloch lands an overhand right.
McGulloch misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bon throws a sloppy head kick and McGulloch moves out of range easily.
McGulloch throws a lazy right hand but Bon sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bon scores with a hook.
Bon swings for the body but McGulloch moves out of range.
McGulloch gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bon.
Bon looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've been informed that McGulloch has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Oooooh!!! Bon has knocked McGulloch down with a huge combo! Bon steps away and waves a wobbly McGulloch back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fight stays on the outside here - Junior looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Takano now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Takano throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Takano enables Junior to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Takano manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A very excited looking Yuki Takano rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
