The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Potter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shaam pinned against the cage. Shaam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shaam enables Potter to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shaam manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Sigurdsson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Evans has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sigurdsson has managed to get both his arms back between Evans's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ragnar Sigurdsson.
I think Sigurdsson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
