Noam Nystrom decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.

Walker changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jones is trying to control Walker's posture but Walker avoids it.
Jones is not content to let Walker control the position.
Jones is working to avoid the ground and pound but Walker connects with a decent elbow.

Tarasov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Tarasov drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tow seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Big Tow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tow throws an elbow that misses. Zmija uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tow's guard. Nice move by Zmija!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zmija goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Zmija will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zmija avoids it really well and circles away.

Zmija will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zmija sprawls well. Zmija wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tow gets slowly back to his feet.

Tow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zmija defends well and Tow ends up having to push Zmija into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tow shoots for a double leg takedown but Zmija sprawls well. He's pushed Tow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tow darts in looking for a takedown but Zmija gets double underhooks and turns Tow into the cage.
Zmija jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Big Tow's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Zmija might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Tow is breathing heavily.
Zmija lands a nice hook to Tow's body. Tow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tow seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Zmija shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Tow is backing up but Zmija catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Tow covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Zmija Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Otocanin Zmija bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
