Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mark Hickens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Jack Bquick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jack Jack Bquick was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Hickens!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jack Jack Bquick!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hickens throws a combination. Jack Bquick tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Hickens stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hickens wants it to stay on the feet.
Hickens moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Hickens throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Jack Bquick wants to clinch up but Hickens keeps it at a distance.
Hickens really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jack Bquick shoots in looking for a takedown. Hickens tries to sprawl out of it but Jack Bquick keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hickens manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Mark Hickens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Jack Bquick.
Jack Bquick seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Hickens shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jack Bquick is backing up but Hickens catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jack Bquick covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hickens Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Marc Huge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Onemountain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matt Onemountain struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 172.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Huge misses its intended target.
Onemountain misses with a takedown attempt - Huge sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
No luck for Onemountain with that takedown attempt.
Onemountain closes the distance and clinches up with Huge, looking for a takedown. Onemountain pushes Huge against the cage but Huge circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Marc Huge.

Hittoe drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mocassins looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mocassins looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mocassins!

Mocassins is working to tighten is grip on Hittoe 's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hittoe has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Mocassins is really squeezing tight and eventually Hittoe passes out! Mocassins breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Angelov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Maxwell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Maxwell has cracked Angelov with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Maxwell lands another huge swinging hook and Angelov tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Angelov, before Maxwell can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Todd Maxwell! Todd Maxwell retains his bantamweight title!
