Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hari Kunwar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mitchell Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kunwar kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Kills - Future Starts Slow. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kunwar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Brown is looking for a triangle here but Kunwar uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Kunwar is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Brown is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soooza pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A swing and a miss from Soooza.
Soooza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Soooza lands with a good body shot.
Jacare Soooza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Soooza throws a shot to the body.
XsX with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Soooza to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Malcolm XsX has been cut.

XsX throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Soooza tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. XsX is in Soooza's guard.
XsX keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Soooza's head.
XsX will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Soooza looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but XsX is defending well. Soooza quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! XsX has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Soooza celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
