The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Heras wants to clinch
and Shemus counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Shemus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Heras as he jumps to the side.
Heras throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Heras tries to sprawl but Shemus drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Heras makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Shemus looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Shemus seems to have recovered his senses.

Heras lands a left and a right that send Shemus crashing to the mat, dazed. Heras thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Heras is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Heras shuts the power down on Shemus. Lights out, game over! Heras is your winner.

Brown looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Burns looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Brown closes the distance and clinches up with Burns, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes Burns against the cage but Burns circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Shaw Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burns sizes up Brown with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
