On his way into the cage it seems that Kevin Rush has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kevin Rush seems to be OK! Ridiculous shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Ridiculous was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Rush stops Ridiculous from passing to mount.

Ridiculous is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Rush has escaped the position, nice work there.

Ridiculous working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Ridiculous tries to move to mount but Rush blocks the move with his legs.

Ridiculous is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Rush is trying to escape and Ridiculous transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Rush is forced to tap! Nice work there by Ridiculous! Very nice indeed!

Muhammad lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Bodahl shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Muhammad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Bodahl takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bodahl looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Muhammad lands with a hook. Bodahl tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Mehmet Muhammad has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jan Bodahl.
Muhammad stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Muhammad wants it to stay on the feet.

Muhammad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bodahl won't allow Muhammad to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Muhammad fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bodahl looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bodahl gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Muhammad lands with an uppercut that bounces Bodahl off the cage and back into range.

Muhammad drops Bodahl with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bodahl! Muhammad dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A relieved looking Mehmet Muhammad thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

That was a close round but I would say that Bittor Xavier will probably get the nod.
That's time! Xavier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bittor Xavier overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Lunar is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Xavier isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lunar stacks Xavier on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lunar!

That was a close second round but I would say that Bittor Xavier will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Lunar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Xavier on the side of the head.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

As Lunar looks to move away, Xavier throws a big counter combo but Lunar just gets out of the way.

Vladik Fedotov struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 171.1lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ring throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Fedotov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Ring scores with a head kick. Fedotov tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Fedotov wants to stay close but Ring steps back to make room for something. Fedotov seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Ring and Fedotov drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jeremy Ring!
A very excited looking Jeremy Ring made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
