Wooten lands with a big right hook that stumbles Johnson - he's out on his feet here! Wooten follows up with another monster hook that separates Johnson from consciousness! Johnson falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Wooten stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Alverazez throws a sloppy head kick

and Nikon counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Nikon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Nikon thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Alverazez looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Alverazez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nikon postures up.
Nikon postures up and lands a big shot to Alverazez's brow.
Nikon is pushing down on Alverazez's leg trying to pass to half guard. Alverazez is fighting to maintain full guard but Nikon has managed to sneak the leg through.
Alverazez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nikon has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Alverazez defend it? Nikon steps over the head and cranks it - Alverazez is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Nikon!

Mendes drops his hands momentarily and Arnautovic takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Tony Mendes has been cut.
Mendes misses with a jab, cross combination.
Arnautovic scores with a jab to the jaw.
Mendes throws the left hand but Arnautovic avoids the punch easily.
Arnautovic lands a glancing blow to the side of Mendes's head.

Mendes is rocked!
Arnautovic connects with a body shot.
Oh Mendes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice defenses there by Arnautovic.
Mendes seems to have got his legs back now.
Mendes throws a body punch but Arnautovic moves out of range.
Mendes takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Milcin Arnautovic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Arnautovic throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mendes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mendes is breathing heavily.
Arnautovic connects with a stiff jab that staggers Mendes - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

A pretty intense looking Milcin Arnautovic took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.

McCann doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
McCann connects with a body shot that sends Maeda's belly button to the back.
McCann lands a head shot.
McCann fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Maeda to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Maeda looks to clinch but McCann throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Maeda taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Return lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Joon Ho tries to close the distance and clinch up but Return swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Joon Ho is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Return misses the target.
We've been told by Return's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Joon Ho tries to bum rush Return with a series of wild strikes but Return uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Return makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Joon Ho misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Return is looking for a counter combo.
Return throws a jab but it's blocked by Joon Ho.
