Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mi Han Lo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Copper Light (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mi Han Lo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Copper Light!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han Lo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Light.
Han Lo tries a head kick but it misses.
Light throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Light darts in and clinches Han Lo up against the cage.
Han Lo wants to take the fight to the mat but Light manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Han Lo is trying to break free.
Han Lo is trying to pull guard but Light turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Light jumps into guard, dragging Han Lo to the mat.
Han Lo passes Light's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Light tries to get to full guard but Han Lo has control of the leg.
Light manages to get to full guard.

Light keeping moving, preventing Han Lo from controlling successfully.
Light is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

A nice side step and Light releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.

Light closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Light keeps control of Han Lo as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Han Lo tries to pull guard but Light won't allow it.

Light is pulling down on Han Lo's head. It's preventing any offense from Han Lo, at least for the moment.
Light looking to hit a scissor sweep but Han Lo is one step ahead there.

Han Lo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Light manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Han Lo has Light in his guard.

Han Lo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Light wants to improve his position but Han Lo is controlling well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Copper Light dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Light shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Mi Han Lo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Light dives in for a single leg takedown but Han Lo sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Han Lo shoots in looking for a takedown. Light tries to sprawl out of it but Han Lo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Light manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
A little jabbing left from Light on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Han Lo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Light's waist but Light gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Han Lo off to one side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Light shoots in for a takedown but Han Lo shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Light changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Han Lo tries to avoid it but Light manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Han Lo to the ground. Han Lo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Light gets to his feet - Han Lo follows without any prompting.

Light has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Han Lo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Light is fending him off so far but Han Lo persists. Nope, Light circles away and we're back to standing.
Copper Light seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Light shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Han Lo pinned against the cage. Han Lo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Light has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Han Lo is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Light is trying to drag Han Lo to the mat but Han Lo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Han Lo is trying to pull guard but Light turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mi Han Lo will probably get the nod.

Han Lo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Han Lo stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Light manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Han Lo tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Light just stands there and leans against the cage.

Han Lo slaps away a takedown attempt from Light, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Han Lo throws a counter high kick but Light was just alert enough to avoid it.
Han Lo misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Light throws a right and a left that both miss.

Light clinches up with Han Lo and pushes him back against the cage.
Light drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mi Han Lo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Copper Light.

Light's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mi Han Lo.
I think Han Lo has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
