Some bone on bone action there as Banget checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Despite the aggression on Banget's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Miles clinches up with Banget and pushes him back against the cage.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Banget has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Banget crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Miles - the referee stops the clock and Banget gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Miles. Banget manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Stark finds Schrohtums's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Schrohtums flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Stark lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Schrohtums will be OK.

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel St Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jam Suckletooth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). St Cormier kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Li'l Wayne feat. Drake - Right Above It. Suckletooth is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Machoman Randy Savage Theme. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.
