Hammer throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Wallace's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Hammer dives in looking to finish as Wallace flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Hammer's strikes! Hammer is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Wallace's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Wallace was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reem tries to clinch up but Perkins circles away and keeps his distance.

Reem drops Perkins with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Perkins looks back up at him and smiles so Reem waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Reem goes for a small jab and connects. Now Reem goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Perkins stumbles back but Reem runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Perkins to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Perkins will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Ali Reem!
Ali Reem decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, Kasen Perkins stepped up to the mic, saying 'Uhm, yeah okay.'.
