enabling Malone to counter with a crisp jab.
Malone on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Shang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Malone has time to react.

Malone swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shang.
Malone tries to move into range but Shang moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Malone looks for a takedown but Shang sprawls well.

Shang shoots for a double leg takedown but Malone sprawls well. He's pushed Shang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

As Shang backs off Malone throws a huge counter combo but Shang manages to avoid it all.

Malone dives in and grabs Shang's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shang pushes down on Malone's head and hops out.

Malone wants to stand up but Shang is controlling him.
Shang postures up in Malone's guard and throws a big left but Malone blocks it.

Shang stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Malone has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Shang manages to get his head free but now Malone has transitioned to an armbar! Shang grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Malone! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!

I think Flannery might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dropkick Murphys - I'm Shipping Up To Boston. Huey drops Flannery with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Flannery looks back up at him and smiles so Huey waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Huey lands a big uppercut and Flannery crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Flannery looks OK. Huey waves Flannery back to his feet!

Huey is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Flannery flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Flannery is out cold! Huey holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
