Post fight, Simoni Khan stared into the camera and said 'I just want to say "thank you" to my team,to my coach,and my fans. I feel pretty good,I made what I wanted to made I declass my opponent,it's OK because I'm god blessed ,everybody knows it. '.
Yahweh Falwell spoke after the fight, saying 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I rolled more instead of praying, I might have learned to defend submissions. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Gary Stilies has been cut.

Stilies closes the distance and pushes Amaral back into the cage.
Stilies drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Amaral gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Stilies goes for a takedown attempt but Amaral pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Amaral throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Stilies's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd cheers as Amaral lands an impressive looking overhand right. Stilies doesn't seem phased though.

Amaral lands a really nice looking cross but Stilies seems unphased.

Amaral drops Stilies with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stilies looks back up at him and smiles so Amaral waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Amaral drops Stilies with a big knee straight up the middle! Stilies is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Amaral drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Stilies's head, knocking him out cold! Amaral is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rafael Amaral!
Rafael Amaral made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I'm not surprised mother fuckers!'.
