The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vachon lands a nice shot that snaps Stone's head back.
Stone avoids the body shot from Vachon.
Stone needs to keep his hands up - Vachon had a free shot at his head there.
Stone is looking to clinch but Vachon is avoiding it.
Vachon throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vachon scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Stone shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vachon drops down looking for a counter takedown but Stone sprawls and moves away.
Stone with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Vachon to score with a decent uppercut.
Stone takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Vachon lands a jab to Stone's midsection.
Stone goes for a double leg but Vachon avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vachon continues to drive forward.

Vachon seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vachon has closed the distance and engaged Stone in a clinch.

Vachon has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Stone regains guard immediately.
Our spies down at at The SkrapBox inform us that Stone has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?

Adams explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Out ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Out's coach down at CT + BJJ & Wrestling sparring gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Out's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Adams scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from McDonnell lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hunt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hunt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
