The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hfg feints and as Asd raises his hands in defense, Hfg changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Asd is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Asd keeping moving, preventing Hfg from controlling successfully.
Hfg throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Asd works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Hfg is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Asd lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fgh Hfg.

Lahtinen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Torres walks away with a smile on his face. Lahtinen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lahtinen seems to have got his legs back now.
Lahtinen drops his hands momentarily. Torres doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Lahtinen staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Lahtinen doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
