Sackett throws a leg kick but Hokolazu sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sackett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hokolazu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hokolazu looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sackett throws a lazy right hand but Hokolazu sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sackett lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Hokolazu is rocked!
Sackett tries to bum rush Hokolazu with a series of wild strikes but Hokolazu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hokolazu is still on wobbly legs! Can Sackett finish him?
and Sackett counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hokolazu! He's just covering up as Sackett starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Macon Sackett!
In defeat, Charley Hokolazu stepped up to the mic, saying 'I think I won't get out of this losing streak. So it's better to retire.. Thanks everyone. MMA is still a great sport!'.

Pants throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Campobello shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Pants's guard.

Pants controls Campobello momentarily but Campobello frees himself.
Campobello missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Pants working for a triangle but Campobello defends it easily.
Campobello in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Pants working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Campobello doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Campobello manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pants utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Pants had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Campobello defends it easily.
Campobello trying to control the position from guard on top but Pants is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Campobello tries to free his leg and advance position but Pants is retaining full guard.
