The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dark throws a right and a left that Uzimaki avoids nicely.

Dark changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Uzimaki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Uzimaki is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dark off and has taken his back!
Dark trying to control the hands but Uzimaki won't let him.
Uzimaki has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Dark's body.

Uzimaki is working for a rear naked choke. Dark is not defending it well and Uzimaki has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Dark refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Dark's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Faber fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Faber wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Faber throws a combination. Blaze tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Blaze is rocked!
Blaze could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Blaze wants to clinch up but Faber keeps it at a distance.
Blaze tries to clinch but Faber moves out of range.
Blaze shoots for a double leg takedown but Faber sprawls well. He's pushed Blaze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Faber is trying to counter with his kicks.
Faber misses the shot to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Faber throws the left hand but Blaze avoids the punch easily.
The crowd cheers as Faber lands an impressive looking overhand right. Blaze doesn't seem phased though.
Blaze moves away from the strike by Faber.

Blaze drops his hands for a split second and Faber immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Blaze face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Faber follows up with a right hand that knocks Blaze into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Watts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Max Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Watts is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Watts works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Anderson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Watts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Anderson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Anderson is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Watts rolls with it to try and escape but Anderson cranks on the arm and Watts is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
