The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faber keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Faber lands a slapping body shot.
Uzimaki takes one to the side of the head.
Uzimaki tries for a takedown but Faber circles away easily
and Faber counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Faber feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Uzimaki sprawling to the canvas! Uzimaki rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Faber finish him?!

Uzimaki is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Uzimaki misses with a body punch
and Faber counters with a huge right that knocks Uzimaki out cold! Faber is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

After the fight, Renan Faber was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Vros takes a kick to the side of the head.
Anderson scores with a spinning back kick!
Anderson drops his hands momentarily and Vros takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
A jab from Anderson finds it's way through Vros's defenses.
Anderson misses with a head kick.
Anderson moves away from the strike by Vros.
Anderson throws a sloppy head kick and Vros moves out of range easily.
Anderson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Anderson misses with a takedown attempt - Vros sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Vros throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Vros on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Anderson. Anderson obviously looking to wear him down.
Anderson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Vros was well out of range. Poor timing from Anderson.
Anderson throws a head kick but Vros moves out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Anderson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice defenses there by Anderson.
Vros waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Anderson.
Anderson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Anderson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vros fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Anderson goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Vros scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Vros. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Vros sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Vros looks to score with a jab to the body but Anderson is just out of range.
Anderson is looking for the big counter here.
Anderson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Vros cracks Anderson with an open hand slap.
Vros misses with a hook. Anderson ducked under it nicely.
Adriaan Vros is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Vros lands a nice hook to Anderson's body. Anderson takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Vros tests Anderson's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Anderson is rocked!
Anderson gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Vros gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
