And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tata Khajo!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khajo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Simonsen.
Simonsen misses with a double jab
and Khajo counters with a one-two to the body.
Simonsen shoots in looking for a takedown but Khajo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Simonsen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Khajo connects with a nice looking jab.
Simonsen is looking to clinch but Khajo is avoiding it.
Khajo blocks a head kick by Simonsen.
Simonsen misses with a takedown
and Khajo counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Khajo is pressed up against the cage. Simonsen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Khajo down to the mat. Khajo avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Khajo throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Khajo thuds a left hand into Simonsen's body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Khajo dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Simonsen takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Steffan Simonsen has been cut.

Khajo feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Simonsen sprawling to the canvas! Simonsen rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Khajo finish him?!

Simonsen is rocked!
Khajo fakes the body blow, causing Simonsen to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Simonsen goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vader bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Diablo's head backwards.
Diablo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Diablo throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vader was covering up waiting for the punch and Diablo finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diablo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Diablo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Diablo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vader walks away with a smile on his face. Diablo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Vader scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Vader feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diablos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Diablo looks for a takedown but Vader sprawls well.
Diablo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
El Pablo Diablo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Vader feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Diablos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Diablo has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Diablo there as he acknowledges the shot.
Vader lands with an uppercut that bounces Diablo off the cage and back into range.

Diablo is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Vik Vader showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Vader lunges at Diablo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diablo's hand.
Oh Diablo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Diablo takes one to the side of the head.
Vader cracks Diablo with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

Henry will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning McNamarra up against the cage.
