Marski throws a lazy right hand but Jones sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Marski swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Marski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Marski scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Marski will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Marski looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Marski!
Marski throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones misses with a hook. Marski ducked under it nicely.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Marski looks gassed!

Jones lands a big head kick that sends Marski to the canvas! Jones follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ali is trying to stand up here but Payette is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Payette wants to stand up but Ali is controlling the position.

Payette is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Payette seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

It looks like Charles Payette has been cut.
Ali walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Payette drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Ali swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Payette 's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Silva drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Homstad manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silva has Homstad in his guard.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jake scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Arnel Pineda has been cut.
Jake will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Jake throws a half hearted mid kick.

Pineda closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Pineda has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jake can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pineda can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jake throws some wild stikes that Pineda manages to avoid easily.
Pineda blocking the ground and pound.
Jake can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pineda is looking to escape.
Pineda wants to control but Jake is having none of it.
Pineda flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pineda tries to reverse the position but Jake maintains control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake stalks Pineda and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pineda's face. Pineda staggers backwards, shaken.

That has opened up Arnel Pineda's cut even more.
Arnel Pineda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jake throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pineda dives in and grabs Jake's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jake pushes down on Pineda's head and hops out.

Jake lands a left and a right that sends Pineda crashing to the canvas! Jake dives into mount looking to finish!

Pineda is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Jake takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Pineda is breathing heavily.
Jake wants to control the pace but Pineda is squirming around nicely.

Arnel Pineda's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
