The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Singh lands with an uppercut that bounces Ram off the cage and back into range.

It looks like John Ram has been cut.
Singh misses with a few strikes there.
Ram shoots in for a double leg but Singh sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ram misses with a takedown attempt - Singh sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Singh was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Ram shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Singh defends it nicely.
Singh went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Yuvraj Singh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Ram.
Ram darts in looking for a takedown but Singh gets double underhooks and turns Ram into the cage.
Singh clobbers Ram with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Ram should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Ram shoots in and bounces Singh off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Overeem takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Overeem with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Laston to score with a decent uppercut.
Overeem keeps the fight on the outside.
Overeem fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A jab from Laston misses.
Jab, jab by Laston - just one landing.
We've been told by Overeem's head coaches at Cozad MMA Las Vegas that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Laston feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Overeem sprawling to the canvas! Overeem rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Laston finish him?!

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Laston flashes Overeem a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Overeem's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Overeem crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Laston punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Thesaurus moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Thesaurus defending well as McConor loads up on a big left hand.

Thesaurus throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

McConor closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Thesaurus quickly recovers to half guard.
