The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jelani misses with the combination.
Jelani lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Kane Letvian has been cut.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Letvian.
Jelani keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Letvian.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Letvian. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A cross from Jelani lands.
Letvian on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Letvian throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jelani's waist but Jelani gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Letvian off to one side.
Letvian closes the distance and clinches up with Jelani, looking for a takedown. Letvian pushes Jelani against the cage but Jelani circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Letvian tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Letvian is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jelani sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Letvian tries to land a leg kick but Jelani saw it coming and moves away.

Jelani lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Letvian has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Letvian there as he acknowledges the shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McDermott pushes Craik up against the cage in a clinch.

McDermott ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. McDermott no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
McDermott looking to hit a scissor sweep but Craik is one step ahead there.
McDermott being controlled here, momentarily.
McDermott not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Craik has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
McDermott might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Craik kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Craik stopping the sweep attempt from McDermott.
Craik will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McDermott is trying to control the position but Craik postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Craik tries a head kick but it misses.
McDermott closes the distance and clinches up with Craik, looking for a takedown. McDermott pushes Craik against the cage but Craik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McDermott takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McDermott looks gassed!
Craik throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent McDermott stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Craik clinches up against the cage.
Craik wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Craik pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
McDermott tries to pull guard but Craik won't allow it.
Jason Craik has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur McDermott.
Craik is trying to break the clinch but McDermott is controlling him.
Craik is trying to break the clinch but McDermott has him pressed against the cage.
McDermott keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Craik's efforts to push away.
Craik is looking to break free of the clinch but McDermott has double underhooks.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Craik trying to control the position but instead, McDermott has worked for underhooks and has pushed Craik into the cage.
McDermott tries to pull guard but Craik holds him up against the cage and eventually McDermott drops back down to his feet.
Craik wants to break the clinch but can't.

McDermott's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Craik feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends McDermott sprawling to the canvas! McDermott rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Craik finish him?!

It looks like Arthur McDermott has been cut.
Craik throws an overhand right that drops McDermott like a sack of potatoes! Craik dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
