Franchise scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wrestling scores with a hook to the body. Franchise takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Wrestling throws a leg kick that misses.
Wrestling walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

It looks like Johnny Wrestling has been cut.
Franchise bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Wrestling's head backwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thunda throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Elkemenchi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

It looks like Evgeni Elkemenchi has been cut.
Elkemenchi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Thunda.
Elkemenchi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Thunda counters with a slapping leg kick.
Thunda fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Thunda drops Elkemenchi with a big left hand and mounts him. Elkemenchi is in big trouble!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Steel is on him like a limpet, forcing Lee back against the cage.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lee is trying to stand up here but Steel is controlling him well.
