Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Solan screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Truck ducks straight into an uppercut from Infamous and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Truck manages to regain guard straight away.

Infamous stands up over Truck, holding on to his feet. Infamous throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Truck is out cold! Infamous lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ta can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well Ta has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Carver comes to the cage accompanied by Raining Blood. Gercules comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Eminem-Lose yourself kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Jack Carver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carver lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Carver looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Carver tries to clinch up.
Carver fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gercules has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Carver.
Carver misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Gercules gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Carver wants to get back to his feet but Gercules drags him back down.

Gercules has hold of Carver's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Carver seems comfortable defending it but Gercules has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Carver is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Carver is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gercules couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mario Gercules!
After the fight, Mario Gercules was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

It looks like Raul Matias has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Matias misses with a kick to the body.
Matias is still on wobbly legs! Can Mac finish him?
Matias tries a head kick but it misses.
Matias seems to have recovered his senses.
Mac connects with a nice looking jab.
Mac has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Golden Child Gym in the buildup to the fight.

Matias looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Matias throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Matias is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Matias gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Mac gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Matias is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Little avoids the head kick by Dubois.
Decent striking displayed by Little there.
Little ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dubois moves away.
