Justice gets control of Hammer's arms and successfully pulls guard. Justice will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Justice is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hammer rolls with it to try and escape but Justice cranks on the arm and Hammer is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

First uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jackson.
Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
First is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Jackson leaves First with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Jackson misses with a looping left.

Jackson drives through and clinches with First against the cage.
First is trying to force a seperation but Jackson has the dominant position.
Jackson scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Manny First has been cut.

Brown showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rush.
Brown takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rush thumps Brown with a low kick.
Brown bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Brown lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Brown misses with a double jab.
Rush takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
We've been hearing reports that Rush has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Brown fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rush.
Brown misses with a wild combination.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Rush wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Rush throwing strikes from guard but Brown blocks nicely.
Brown is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Brown is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rush is controlling him.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Rush's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rush circles away quickly and effectively.
Brown throws a low kick, looking for Rush's leg but Rush calmly moves out of range.

Rush catches Brown napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Brown to the canvas!

Brown is rocked!
Rush showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Brown is still in real trouble! Can Rush finish him?

Rush drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Rush as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Brown screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Rush! Nice submission victory there!

A very excited looking Kevin Rush rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Hensen lunges at Deux with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Deux's hand.
Deux just misses with a punch to the body.
Deux throws a hook but Hensen avoids it easily.
Nice jab there from Hensen.
Deux loads up on a big right hand but Hensen slips the punch.
Hensen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Deux looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Deux misses with a double jab.
Hensen slips under a jab.
A big left from Deux misses.
Deux shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hensen as he avoids it easily.
That kick from Hensen tenderised Deux's leg. Deux is trying to keep his angry face on.
Hensen connects with a jab.
Hensen looks for the body kick but Deux saw that one coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hensen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Deux clobbers Hensen with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

It looks like Sven Hensen has been cut.
Hensen lands a nice looking body kick.
Sloppy strikes from Deux. Those never looked like landing.

Hensen lands a big head kick that sends Deux tumbling to the mat! Hensen takes a step backwards and waves Deux back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Deux is rocked!
Deux wants to stay close but Hensen steps back to make room for something. Deux seems frozen to the spot and bam! huge swing of the leg from Hensen and Deux drops like he has been shot! A huge head kick and it's all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sven Hensen!
A pretty intense looking Sven Hensen took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
Numero Deux was interviewed post fight and said 'Tell me when the fire dies down... What the F will you do?!?!'.
