The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gonon fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Abidonov, pushing him back against the cage.
Abidonov creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Gonon changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Abidonov fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Gonon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Abidonov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gonon pinned against the cage. Gonon gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Haibane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Fighter Four really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Fighter Four bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Haibane's head backwards.
Fighter Four misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Haibane counters with a nice uppercut.
Fighter Four throws a leg kick which misses Haibane's front leg but catches the back leg as Haibane tries to avoid it.
Fighter Four cracks Haibane with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Fighter Four leaves Haibane with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haibane works over Fighter Four's head and body with a nice combination.
Random Fighter Four seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Haibane shoots in but Fighter Four avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Fighter Four swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kaufman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And Kaufman tries to counter it with a takedown but Fleurke pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Fleurke throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

and Kaufman counters with a shoot takedown. Fleurke fights it but they end up in guard.
Fleurke is looking to stand back up but Kaufman counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Fleurke.

Kaufman is looking for a kimura but Fleurke is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kaufman to get the leverage.
Kaufman prevents Fleurke from standing back up.

Fleurke is pushing off trying to get to his feet. Kaufman has hold of the leg though and he's dropped back for a heel hook… has he got it?? YES! Fleurke is tapping! This fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Albert Kaufman!

Albert Kaufman decided to call for a title shot in his post fight interview, which was very strange given the fact this fight was for a title and he's already the champion. I guess that's what getting punched in the head does for you.
