The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut there from Poro.
Poro lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Robert Griffith has been cut.

Poro closes the distance and pushes Griffith back into the cage.
Come on Poro - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Griffith tries to pull guard but Poro holds him up against the cage and eventually Griffith drops back down to his feet.
Griffith jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Poro walks away with a smile on his face. Griffith gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A decent looking cross lands there for Poro.
Poro ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Griffith fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Poro swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Griffith has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Griffith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Griffith takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Poro drops Griffith with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Griffith looks back up at him and smiles so Poro waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Poro feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Griffith sprawling to the canvas! Griffith rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Poro finish him?!
Oh Griffith is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Nevalainen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kopylov has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nevalainen has managed to get both his arms back between Kopylov's legs - danger averted.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
