The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Hardman looks for a takedown but Lamas sprawls well.
Hardman shoots in but no luck this time.
Hardman tries for a takedown but Lamas circles away easily
and Lamas counters with a nice uppercut.
Cub Lamas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Punt Hardman.
Hardman goes for a double leg but Lamas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Lamas continues to drive forward.
Nice takedown defense from Lamas. No joy for Hardman on that attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hardman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lamas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hardman dives in and grabs Lamas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lamas pushes down on Hardman's head and hops out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lamas scores with a nice right hand.
Hardman throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lamas's waist but Lamas gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hardman off to one side.

Lamas lands a left and a right that send Hardman crashing to the mat, dazed. Lamas thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Punt Hardman has been cut.
Are you kidding me?! Lamas ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Hardman clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
