Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Borys Mankowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Strikes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mankowski might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Kękę -Wyjebane. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strikes tries to clinch there but Mankowski circles away.

Mankowski drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Strikes is looking to stand up but Mankowski isn't so interested in that idea.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Strikes utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Mankowski working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilenius scores with a crisp jab that stopped Akainu in his tracks.

Vilenius is nestled in close to Akainu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Akainu has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Vilenius is working away from the top position though.

A relieved looking Asko Vilenius thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
