The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blaker throws a hook to the side of Carter's head but Carter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Blaker throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Carter stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Blaker looks to throw the jab but Carter is out of range.
Some wild striking there from Carter.

Carter darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Carter is trying to control the action in half guard but Blaker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blaker gets back to full guard.

Carter looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blaker is on top in guard.

Dumont's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Dumont duly obliges.

It looks like Harold Shermann has been cut.
Dumont dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Dumont cracks Shermann with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Dumont has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Shermann to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A nice inside leg kick there by Dumont. That's going to slow Shermann down.
Shermann tries to clinch
and Dumont counters with a nice low kick that buckles Shermann's knee momentarily.
Shermann should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Dumont scores with a sloppy right hand. Shermann should have avoided that one.
Dumont throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Shermann shoots in looking for a takedown. Dumont tries to sprawl out of it but Shermann keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dumont manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nice body kick from Dumont.
Shermann looks winded!
Look low, kick high! Dumont uses the oldest trick in the book to send Shermann tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Dumont is absolutely delighted - when Shermann wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gordon darts in and clinches Kopylov up against the cage.

Kopylov tightens his grip and picks Gordon up, before dumping him to the ground. Gordon manages to land in guard.
Kopylov advances position into side control!
Kopylov throws a strike aimed at the side of Gordon's head but Gordon avoids it well.
Kopylov in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Kopylov has hold of Gordon's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Gordon seems comfortable defending it but Kopylov has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Gordon is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Gordon is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Kopylov couldn't care less - he's delighted!
