The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe throws a chopping leg kick but Kamiya manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
A swing and a miss from Kamiya.
Sloppy strikes from Kamiya. Those never looked like landing.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kamiya. Doe does a little dance to reset his feet.
A solid leg kick lands there for Kamiya.
Doe has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Kamiya throws a series of punches but Doe avoids them all with ease.
Kamiya throws a body kick that misses.

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Doe has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Doe and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maki Kamiya will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Maki Kamiya.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aoki Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Flying Flynn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aoki comes into the arena with Baka Survivor blaring out of the sound system. Aoki Aoki had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Aoki Aoki could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Flying Flynn's chin.

Takayanagi thows a body kick. Ventura tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Ventura avoids a kick to the body.
Ventura lunges at Takayanagi with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Takayanagi's hand.
Ventura lands an overhand right.
Ventura on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Takayanagi walks into a straight right hand from Ventura.
Takayanagi looks to throw the jab but Ventura is out of range.
Ventura swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Takayanagi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ventura uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Ventura gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Takayanagi to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takayanagi quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Takayanagi but it's paid off an Ventura is forced to tap! Nice work by Takayanagi.

Williams gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Zavimbe gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Williams is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Python trying to control the position but instead, Mousa has worked for underhooks and has pushed Python into the cage.

Mousa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mousa pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Mousa darts in looking for a takedown but Python gets double underhooks and turns Mousa into the cage.
Python is looking to counter with a body kick.

Mousa shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Python's guard.

Mousa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Python has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mousa has managed to get both his arms back between Python's legs - danger averted.
Python working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mousa.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mousa has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Python to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mousa is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Python pulls down on the head and he's put Mousa to sleep! This one is all over!
