Artigas shoots for a takedown but Schulz saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Schulz will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Schulz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Artigas manages to avoid it.
Artigas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Schulz.
Schulz throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gastelu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tiu swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Tiu closes the distance and clinches up with Gastelu, looking for a takedown. Tiu pushes Gastelu against the cage but Gastelu circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Tiu postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Gastelu is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Tiu, into his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Soriano! Khan is out on his feet! Soriano rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Khan is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Khan is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
