Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Andre Costa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Murilo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Costa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Costa tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Silva is able to avoid easily.
Silva throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Silva feints a jab promting Costa to slip. Silva then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Costa slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Costa throws a lazy body kick

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into side control. Costa won't be happy with that.
Costa tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Costa dodges the ground and pound from Silva.
Costa is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Silva has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Costa works to full guard.
