Fry fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McGee to the ground. Fry is now in McGee's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

McGee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McGee really is a fat lump.
McGee controls Fry momentarily but Fry frees himself.

McGee looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Fry has picked McGee up and slammed him! McGee can't keep hold of the triangle and Fry manages to pass to side control!
McGee is looking to regain half guard here but Fry keeps moving and retains side control.
